A winter landscape with trees on a snow covered hill in the foreground and rolling hills in the background. The trees in the foreground have thin, dark trunks and bare branches. A few conifers are dispersed across the foreground; their needles are painted with broad, upsweeping strokes of grey. There is a blue sky painted in wide strokes across the background.
