A detailed watercolour depicts a winter landscape with a figure wearing snowshoes at the centre of the image, walking into the foreground. They are dressed in a brown coat with a red scarf (clothing) and are pulling a sled behind them on the left and carrying a stick or gun in the other hand. A dog (animal) is running beside the sled. There is some brown vegetation poking through the snow in the mid-ground and immense blue mountains with white caps in the background.
