A colourful painting depicting a studio scene with three women in it. The woman on the left is wearing a blue dress and necklace, has long blond hair and is reclining on a pattered orange and white blanket. The woman in the middle is seated with one leg propped up and her hand resting against her thigh. She is wearing a red dress and has short blond hair. In shadow on the right is a self portrait of the artist, at her easel, wearing a red robe. There is a green plant on a table in the background.
