CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
[Recto] A dark, purple-toned landscape depicts a building at the centre of the image, surrounded by trees and shrubs throughout the middle ground and foreground. There is a sloping mountainside in the background on the left side and large trees in the foreground on the right with a small road winding behind them.[Verso] A rough sketch made as a study for the image on the reverse.
