CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A sketch depicts a cityscape with various figures all in identical trench coats and hats (clothing), walking towards the background. They are arranged in a pyramid formation, with the exception of a few stray figures on the right. There are tall buildings with arched windows on either side in the frame, and a row of street lamps runs down the centre of the image. The street is criss-crossed with the shadows of the figures that are in it. In the sky above is a series of small white dots to represent clouds.
