CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A rough sketch depicts a gardener, wearing striped pants, a checkered coat and a hat, kneeling in front of a group of flowers in the lower right hand corner of the image. There is a small trowel beside the gardener on the left and a quick background sketched behind him, depicting a stone path. The scene is done with thin, black ink outlines.
