CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
An abstract diptych painting incorporating West Coast indigenous themes and designs into a smoky grey surrounding. The left panel has a grouping of eye-shaped and curved black forms set in a light grey milieu that extends from the lower right corner of the painting up to the middle of it. The remainder of the image is painted in darker shades of grey with various small forms painted in red, green, yellow, black brown, and purple. The right panel has a large mass of curved forms, grouped against a grey background, that extends from the bottom left corner of the image diagonally across to the upper right corner. The forms are painted in black, white, brown, red, green, yellow, and blue.
