CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
An installation of a rectangle horizontal white foam frame mounted at eye level to a vertical thin metal shaft fixed to the ground outside, framing a partial view of the trees behind. The work uses the wind, which causes the frame to spin and swing on its axis, changing the subject to be framed. Geuer used the wind to illustrate a philosophical point: despite our wanting to frame the world a certain way, the frame itself is subject to the arbitrary force of nature.
