CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
An acrylic painting depicts an aerial view of a scene at the municipality of Bryson's war memorial. In the center of an esplanade with trees, there is a war monument with a cross, one flagpole on each side, with the Fleur-de-lis and the Canadian flags flying. Further down the esplanade is an artillery gun with nude figures climbing around it. In between the gun and the memorial are scattered groups of naked figures, priests, nuns, and veterans, as well as a marching band with a horse. Clothed figures are watching from the road next to cars. In the background there are buildings and signs, a hill and voluptuous clouds in the horizon.
