CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
An acrylic painting depicts an aerial view of a pilgrimage scene with a large cluster of floating nude figures emerging from a fire of burning signs with symbols going diagonally from the right side. This intersects a procession of clothed figures following religious figures wearing white or red robes, holding banners or riding horses on a path, surrounded by figures on crosses. On the left side, a group of nude figures are erecting another wooden crucifix. In the background behind the cluster of nudes is a group of nondescript buildings. Gray buildings and crosses dot the hilly landscape. In the foreground at the bottom of the image is a group of three crosses with crucified figures on them, and a floating nude figure reaching an arm up towards the smoky cluster of figures.
