CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A self portrait of the artist's head and chest, shoulders are out of frame. The face is in 3/4 profile, with chin resting in the plam of his hand on the left side. The subject is wearing a red collared shirt, open in the front with a shirt underneath. His dark hair is worn combed back. There is a blue wash in the background surrounding him.
