CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A watercolour painting depicting houses (buildings) along the edge of the Rideau Canal. Three houses are clearly depicted, one is of a dark brown, one is yellow beige and another bluish grey. The houses are placed closely to each other along the bank and a big tree is present in front of them, right at the edge of the bank. The tree projects a bluish shadow onto the grey walls of the canal and into the water.
