CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A black on white illustration of different mineral industry facilities. The upper left corner presents a river with a dam; the left bottom corner presents a mining headframe; the right corner bottom presents a mining facility with a chimney rising to the upper right side. The upper right side presents writings [CANADA'S MINERAL INDUSTRY] and the Canada's national emblem. The bottom part presents a large black rectangle with white writings on its left side [Prepared for the New York worldly fair. Mines and geology branch dept of mines and resources Ottawa, Canada.] and a white logo made of a date [1940] and of three joined shapes (triangle, sphere and cloud). Some thick ink marks are present on the illustration, masking parts of the black ink such as the rectangle around the country's national emblem.
