CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A photographic diptych depicts two similar compositions conjoined as a reflection. The upper part of the images has bright snow while the lower part depicts a flat, black foreground. The brightness of the snow suggests an intense sunlight. The two images are similar but not identical, except that a portion of the image is duplicated where they are joined.
