CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A multimedia installation with video and audio that focuses on the Samuel Champlain monument at Nepean Point in Ottawa.The two-channel film work addresses the fact that the artist’s father, Jeff Thomas, also an artist, consistently included his son Bear as a muse in his own photographic work. The work was projected onto the corner of the new OAG building at the Mackenzie King Bridge and Waller Street intersection, for the Inaugural Show.
