CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A semi abstract composition depicting an Arctic landscape. Foreground depicts a dark greenish body of water. The broad brushstrokes suggest an agitated sea. In second plan, a dominant glacier is painted with lighter tones, with a mix of flat area and abstract splashes of colors. The background presents a sky suggesting a sunset or a sunrise; a halo of orange/ochre is peeking through the dark blue sky.
