A self-portrait of the artist set on a predominant red background. The brushstrokes feel broad and loose. The figure is looking directly at the viewer, wearing a bright blue shirt and black framed glasses (clothing). His hair presents different hues of yellow, blue and green. An ornate gold frame is around the painting.
