Texts by Liz Wylie; artist interview by Blair Sharpe
In this exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with an exhibition of Richard Gorman’s work, each period of the artist’s career is represented and discussed, from early experiments in Toronto, through his mid-career practice in Ottawa, to the work completed in Toronto in the 1990s. Black and white images and full colour plates with a two page foldout highlight Gorman’s painted works, while essays by Liz Wylie and an artist interview conducted by fellow artist Blair Sharpe provide an invaluable context for the evaluation and appreciation of Gorman's oeuvre.
