The Ottawa Art Gallery is pleased to welcome David Pontello to its Board of Directors. Elected in June, David brings a unique blend of financial expertise, community experience, and a lifelong passion for the arts. As a CPA and Manager with Welch LLP’s Client Accounting Services team, David works closely with charities and not-for-profit organizations. Before his career in accounting, he was a professional musician, giving him a deep appreciation for the power of the arts to bring people together.
The OAG Board of Directors plays an important role in guiding the Gallery’s long-term vision and governance. Board members provide strategic leadership, support sound decision-making, and serve as ambassadors for the Gallery by championing its mission, building community relationships, and helping ensure its long-term success. We’re excited to welcome David to the Board and look forward to the perspective, energy, and experience he will bring as OAG continues to strengthen its impact on Ottawa’s arts and culture community.
Our team would also like to take a moment to thank two departing board members for their contributions to the OAG and its community. Caroline Dupéré Tremblay, CPA and Manager at Deloitte, joined the OAG Board as Treasurer in 2023, where she also served as Chair of the Finance Committee. Megan Cornell, Partner at Dentons, joined the OAG Board as a Director in 2025 and contributed to committees focused on strategic planning, governance, and advocacy.
We are grateful for their dedication, expertise, and commitment to supporting the OAG and its mission. From all of us here, thank you Caroline and Megan!
Open from 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday and Sunday and from 10 AM to 9 PM Wednesday to Saturday. Closed on Mondays. Admission is always FREE.
