This slim exhibition catalogue was published to accompany multidisciplinary artist Toby MacLennan’s cinematic film installation How Will I Know I’m Here? presented at the Ottawa Art Gallery in 1993. The compact publication features black and white photographs, original text by MacLennan, and a short essay by Jean-François Renaud that elucidates on the artist’s engagement with ideas of collective alienation, mourning, liberation, and catharsis.
