Find us on September 26 under the OAG Art Tent at Marion Dewer Plaza and create a colorful multi-media artwork inspired by Joyce Frances Devlin’s artwork: Strathmere, Windy Day. Using layers of ripped paper to create your background, and acrylic stamps to create your foreground, you will bring to life a unique and expressive landscape!
OAG Mini Market
Located on level 1, the OAG Shop is thrilled to be hosting its next Mini Market, Anniversary Edition, from 1 PM to 8 PM. Discover our specially curated selection of vendors who will be showcasing their unique and handmade goods.
Odāwā Yesterday: Odāwā Chìnàgo
Created by artist and writer Jay Odjick (Kitigan Zibi Anishinaabeg), Odāwā Yesterday: Odāwā Chìnàgo transforms the Ottawa Art Gallery’s façade at Mackenzie King Bridge with an original animation exploring Indigenous history, presence, and continuity in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Presented after sunset, the projection brings the Gallery’s exterior to life through Odjick’s distinctive storytelling.
Pique
Produced in partnership with Nuit Blanche Ottawa and the Ottawa 200 celebrations, Pique returns for its 21st edition on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and for the first time in its history, the event is completely FREE to the public. Taking place at the Arts Court in downtown Ottawa, the festival will feature adventurous music, immersive art, and creative interventions.
Creative Sundays
Join us in the Studio from 10 AM – 2PM on Sunday, September 27 for Creative Sundays, a free drop in art activity suitable for all ages. Discover the current exhibition with a knowledgeable gallery educator and explore your creativity with family and friends.
No registration required. This is a free, all-ages activity.
We look forward to celebrating a full weekend of art and culture in recognition of Ottawa 200.
