This year’s Youth Pride Showcase exhibits 2SLGBTQIA+ youth artists, all creating in the National Capital Region and curated by the Ottawa Art Gallery and Capital Pride youth councils. In this exhibition, the artists explore various themes such as queer identity, community, and visibility through a variety of mediums including paintings, drawings, and photographs. Each year the Youth Pride Showcase offers a demonstration and celebration of queer identity and community.
The Youth Pride Showcase is located on level 0 next to the Jackson Café, and on level 3 by the South Terrace next to the Alma Duncan Salon.
This exhibition was made possible through a partnership between the Ottawa Art Gallery and Capital Pride during the 2023 Capital Pride Festival.
