A New Enchanted Forest on the Walls at The Royal 

On Wednesday, November 9, we officially unveiled the mural “Enchanted Forest” at The Royal Mental Health Centre!  

This is the first mural created in partnership with OAG and The Royal, as part of the Creative Space art and wellness studio program.  

In this program, Royal outpatients attend weekly workshops supported by OAG’s Curator, Community Access Alexis Boyle and Royal Recreation and Occupational Therapists who support their client’s community integration.  

In this mural project, a group of artistically curious and talented clients met weekly, developed the healing theme of enchanted forest, and designed the imagery for this large-scale diptych painting. Created between December 2021 and August 2022, this mural celebrates creativity and promotes wellbeing for all who pass by these walls; clients, staff, and visitors alike.
