OAG’s Graduating Student Award of Excellence

We are pleased to announce that Channelle Litalien has been selected as the recipient of the 2021 Ottawa Art Gallery’s Graduating Student Award of Excellence! Each year, this award is given to a graduating BFA student in the University of Ottawa Department of Visual Arts who has shown exceptional talent. Congratulations, Channelle!

Channelle Litalien is a Franco-Ontarian artist from Cornwall, Ontario. She recently graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in drawing and painting. In the fall of 2021, Channelle will be pursuing a Bachelor of Education, junior/intermediate division in visual arts. Her mediums of choice are charcoal, pastel, graphite, and acrylic. Her current practice focuses on the exploration of compositions and edits of photographs relating to culture, society, and personal memories.
