Susan Feindel: Figura

Published in conjunction with an exhibition held at the OAG in 1999, Figura presents a selection of Canadian artist Susan Feindel’s works from 1984 to the present. The works, selected for the intensity with which they reflect Feindel's concern with the human/nature dichotomy and the creative impulse to transform matter, include paintings, an in-situ installation, a film installation and a sketchbook resulting from a trip to the Arctic. With two full page fold-outs, this publication features colour plates and texts by Petra Halkes and Neil Evernden that explore Feindel’s artistic practice.
