Mique Michelle is a Franco-Ontarian, originally from West Nipissing with the goal of abolishing the negative stereotypes towards graffiti. She uses graffiti as a way to create awareness about the oppression that visible and invisible minorities face and to ensure that youth and the communities she visits have the tools to share their messages. And of course, to add some colour to the world!

Graffiti artist Mique Michelle has created more than 60 murals in Ottawa and has exhibited in galleries, community venues, etc. Her art has led her to travel all over the world. Notably, her work includes the façade of the ByTowne Cinema in Ottawa, the Inspire Festival in Moncton and the Marché des Arts du Spectacle in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) in 2020.
