OAG WELCOMES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF OTTAWA

March 2, 2022

Putting Ottawa on the Festival Map

After a cancelled inaugural festival in 2020 and an online edition in 2021, International Film Festival of Ottawa (IFFO) is back in-person at the OAG with live-audience cinema screenings and talks.

Rooted in the downtown core, OAG is honoured and excited to be one of the festival’s hosts showcasing a selection of more than 50 of this year’s best feature films, short films, special programs and filmmaker talks.

We have been waiting for two years to launch the International Film Festival of Ottawa live and in style at the OAG! This new high profile event by our friends at the Canada Film Institute will put Ottawa on the film festival map while showcasing incredible cinematic art and stimulating our own creative industries. Come join us on the red (pink) carpet!
– Alexandra Badzak, Director and CEO, Ottawa Art Gallery

CINEPHILES GET READY!
MARCH 9 to 20, 2022

Experience a new kind of film festival, right here at the OAG and presented to you by the Canadian Film Institute (CFI)

We (CFI) are so thrilled to finally be able to hold the International Film Festival of Ottawa (IFFO) as an in-person festival in beautiful Alma Duncan Salon with our long-time and cherished presenting partner, the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG). We will, of course, be observing all health protocols and restrictions to keep film-goers safe, and we look forward to doing our part in re-starting Ottawa’s vibrant downtown arts and culture scene with our screenings and guest artist talks throughout IFFO
-Tom McSorley, Executive Director, Canadian Film Institute, founders and organizers of IFFO.
