EEPMON makes generative artworks—pieces produced through computer programs that introduce chance, iteration, and interactivity. By transforming digital information into visual forms, he reveals how computer code can act as a creative collaborator, generating works that are precise and unpredictable, logical and poetic. 

For many artists, colour holds value as both a stylistic choice and as a fundamental means of providing information to the viewer. It evokes emotion while defining form through the depiction of light. The artists in this exhibition are united by their use of colour as a tool to shape their artworks.  

Inspired by an act of kindness at a small Nova Scotia high school, Pink Shirt Day, also known as Anti-Bullying Day, has become a global movement against bullying. In 2007, a grade 9 student received threats for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school.

Endless Becomings brings together eleven visionary artists who are shaping the future of contemporary art.

Grotto showcases a selection of artworks generously donated by Bill Staubi to the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) in 2024. This exhibition pays homage to Staubi’s unwavering support for queer artists and his deep-rooted commitment to Ottawa’s vibrant contemporary art scene. 

This work delves into the beauty of flowers and their Fibonacci connections, as well as cosmic fascination and intertwining Earth and lunar rhythms.
